The literary and poster contests of the XLIX Bembibre’s National Festival for the Exaltation of Botillo have been called
The Department of Culture, Festivities, Tourism and Commerce of the Town of Bembibre has called the poster and literary contests of the XLIX Bembibre’s National Festival for the Exaltation of Botillo, with a significant increase in their economic amount.
On the one hand, the poster contest prize raises the amount to 500 euros, compared to 350 for previous editions (42% higher). On the other hand, the prize for the winner of the literary contest will be 1,000 euros, 100 euros more than in the last contest.
With this high level awards, the council directed by Belén Martín intends to promote the literary and artistic creations through these two contests that are part of the history of the Bembibre’s National Festival for the Exaltation of Botillo from its origins, in the case of the literary contest, and early years in the case of the poster contest.
In addition to this awards there are other no less significant novelties.
On the one hand, in the poster contest, there have been introduced a ninth condition: the winner must adapt the original design to facilitate its adaptation to different media such as invitations and digital media.
For its part, the winner of the literary contest will be announced for the first time prior to Saturday Botillero, being published on the Botillo Festival website and through a press release on February 3rd, 2022.
