Poster and literary contests for the LI National Festival of Exaltation of the Botillo are announced
The Department of Culture, Festivities, Tourism and Commerce of the City Council of Bembibre has announced the poster and literary contests for the LI National Festival of Exaltation of Botillo, to be held on February 3. Any person may participate and will be eligible for a single prize of 500 and 1,000 euros, respectively for each modality.
The poster contest aims to encourage artistic creation to show the official image of this year’s Festival. Participants may send as many works as they deem appropriate until December 22nd, in accordance with the criteria established in the rules. The prize will be 500 euros.
As regards the literary contest, it is a contest that is part of the history of the Botillo Festival, held since the first edition. The amount of the prize has been set at 1,000 euros and each year attracts a large number of participants from all over Spain. The deadline for submission will also be open until December 22.
It should be noted that two years ago, the department headed by Belén Martín increased the prize money by up to 40% compared to previous editions.
