The growing interest in participating in the Festival del Botillo de Bembibre made it necessary to have a space that could accommodate a larger number of diners. In 1995, the complicated challenge of taking the event out of the New Brothers Restaurant was decided.

To find a new venue was possible because thanks to the availability of the sports Manuel Marqués Patarita Pavilion. The restaurant management team took care of everything: from the placement of a kitchen on the side of the pavilion to the use of one of the pavilions as a dining room.

This experience then leads the way forward for an event that, just two years later, would break its first great record with 1,250 diners on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Bembibre’s Botillo Festival.
