Registration is open to participate in the Bembibre Farm and Food Fair

The Municipal Festival Board has opened the registration period to participate in the Villa of Bembibre Farm and Food Fair, which will take place in the Bembibre Arena pavilion on February 10th, 11th and 12th, coinciding with the Bembibre’s National Festival for the Exaltation of Botillo.

Those interested must formalize the registration at the Bembibre Town Hall, from 9 am.2 pm, or contact the phone number 987510001 (Araceli), before January 31th. They must pay the participation fee that includes the labeled stand based on the square meters they want.

Regular exhibitors are expected to come from both Castilla y León and other communities such as Asturias, Galicia, Castilla La Mancha, Extremadura or Andalucia.

As regards to the number of visitors, each year attracts several thousand people, mainly from Bembibre and El Bierzo, and increasingly from other parts of the province of León. In addition, in recent editions the Festival has received organized visits that arrive by bus to learn about the products of the participating exhibitors and take advantage of the day in Bembibre.

For its part, the City Council also offers a set of activities to encourage the population to visit the Festival, designed for a very wide audience, including children’s workshops for the little ones.

One of the attractions of the Farm and Food Festival is the restaurant that will serve botillo menus during the three days to exalt the tasting of sausages at popular prices.
