Luis Larrodera, chairman of the XLIX Bembibre’s National Festival for the Exaltation of Botillo that will feature the performance of Pastora Soler
The presenter, actor, comedian and announcer from Zaragoza, Luis Larrodera, will be the maintainer of the XLIX National Festival of Exaltation of Botillo de Bembibre, which will be held on March 19 in the Manuel Marqués Patarita pavilion. The musical note will be borne by the artist Pastora Soler, who will present some of the most outstanding songs of her musical career.
Luis Larrodera began as a radio announcer when he was only 15 years old, a profession in which he is still at the helm of the Cadena Dial program “Atrévete”. But it is also one of the visible faces in recent years, like. Chicho Ibáñez Serrador’s program “Un, dos, tres” opened its doors for him in 2004 and since then he has participated in numerous programs such as “The Great Opportunity”, “The Hour of José Mota” and “The Night of José Mota ”, “Do you play or what”, “Know and win” (replacing Jordi Hurtado) and, more recently, giving voice to the popular format “The fair price”.
As an actor, he made his debut on the big screen in “Torrente 3. El protector”, where he played the policeman Menéndez. He has had roles in the series “El Bloke. Coslada zero”, “The one that is coming”, “The commissioner” or “The ministry of time”.
It is not the first time that the maintainer of this edition of the Botillo Festival is in Bembibre. In 2015 he was the guest artist in the Monologue Contest organized by the FM Bierzo radio station at the Benevivere theater.
Music performance
The central act of the Botillo Festival, in addition to the figure of the maintainer that falls on a character of media or public importance, also includes the musical performance. In line with previous editions, with relevant bets such as Pastora Soler.
Pilar Sánchez, known by her stage name Pastora Soler, will perform a selection of songs from her extensive musical repertoire. As well as the theme that he released at the end of last year, “Let them talk about me”, and which anticipates a new record work.
The singer and presenter from Coria del Río (Seville), who began her artistic career at the age of 8, has received notable awards such as the Music Award or the Golden Microphone.
She was the Spanish representative in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest with “Stay with me”.
Botillo Gala
The gala will begin at 8 pm with the reception of guests at the Manuel Marqués Patarita pavilion, to begin at 8:15 p.m. It will be presented by the director of FM Bierzo, Jesús González, and the writer and master of ceremonies Beatriz Robleda.
The Councilor for Culture, Festivals, Tourism and Commerce Belén Martín Díaz will intervene. Subsequently, the reading of the literary contest ruling and the greeting of the mayor, Silvia Cao Fornís, will take place. The maintainer, Luis Larrodera Sanz, will address a few words to the public and will conclude with a musical performance by Pastora Soler.
