Ángel María Villar Llona (Bilbao, January 21st, 1950) is a former soccer player and Spanish sports leader, vice-president of UEFA, vice-president of FIFA, and president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation since 1988. However, we must not forget his career in sports at Athletic Club and and internationaly.  He scored three goals in his 22 caps with the Spanish National Team.

Playing first in the lower categories of Athletic Club, Villar went through C. D. Galdakao and C. D. Getxo to return to the Vizcaya club in 1971, where he developed his entire professional career.

Ángel María Villar not only holds the highest position in Spanish football, but also combines this activity with other international football institutions: as part of the executive committees of UEFA and FIFA.

He was chairman of Bembibre’s Botillo Festival on February 11, 2012 when he was president of the Spanish Football Federation.
