Manuel Quijano, born in León in 1967. He is a musician, composer, producer and singer, as well as member of the group Café Quijano. In 2008 he was mantenedor (chairman) of Bembibre’s National Festival for the Exaltation of Botillo on its 36th edition.

He began his musical career with his brothers Óscar and Raúl with the release of the band’s first album of the same name: “Café Quijano” (1998). But it was the release of “La extraordinaria paradoja del Sonido Quijano” that was a revolution, with unprecedented success, making the group relevant in national and international music, mainly thanks to the single “La Lola.” They performed in Bembibre nine years earlier, at the 1999 Cristo Festivities.

The brothers began their solo career, and Manuel presented “Vidas y venidas.” The album became a Gold Record with songs like “La Magdalena” or ” Sólo te puedo decir”.
