The Actor and comedian Leonardo González (Leo Harlem), was one of the protagonists of the successful TV show El Club del Chiste. Harlem was mantenedor (chairman) of Bembibre’s National Festival for the Exaltation of Botillo on its XXXIX edition.
He was born in Matarrosa del Sil, but he grown up in Valladolid. Leo Harlem, who writes and performs his own monologues, was finalist in the Third Contest of Monologues of El Club de la Comedia.
His big popular rising took place in the summer of 2009, when he lent his image to Real Valladolid’s football club successful subscribers campaign.
He has worked at La hora de José Mota and El Club del Chiste in Antena 3, where he synthesized the essence of the program: the modernization of the world of jokes without giving up the classics. Some people define him as a promoter of the “new manners”.
